The truth about Religion

Did you know that throughout the world today there are over 4,200 religious based organizations out there. And all these organizations basically believe in the same thing, that their god(s) are the single reason for living. We as humans have worshiped everything from planets and suns to the more ridiculous worship of things such as cats, dwarfs, cows, hippos, and sea monsters! Now here is a question of the ages. Who's "god" is the actual one? Will the real "God" please stand up! No-one, I didn't think so. Here in America, we were founded almost purely on the simple belief that religion is a freedom that every American has as a birthright. Yet where is that belief when it comes to government? Maybe I do not want to believe in the social conformity of America's "God". The one that is all over America. You know which one, the one that we are not allowed to speak of in school and/or courthouses, because there must be a seperation of church and state. Yet, where may I ask is that seperation when you go into any courtroom in this country and the only way people will believe a word you say is if you swear upon their Bible. And where is that seperation or freedom in our currencey? I have to look at your "godly" beliefs every time I handle my money! Where is the freedom there? All America is today is what we fought so hard to get away from 200 + years ago, and that my friends is religious oppression. When was the last time you saw someone on the street talking to "God"? How about "God" talking to them? Be honest, what did you say just under your breath about that person? You see folks, here in America we believe in a supreme being, but we also believe that he/she is unreachable until you die. And some of us out there believe even further, that if you don't live your free life by thier rules, you will be out of luck once you die. What a crock! Here is the truth of the matter. If more of you religious fanatics would take a little of that overwhelming faith you have in society's crutch (god) and place it into each other and your family, maybe, just maybe there would be less 11 year old kids with guns in schools shooting others!! What does your "God" think about all that? If you want to believe that there is a god and you wish to believe in all that life after death crap, so be it. But why the hell do I have to believe in it? And no i don't have a stinkin choice not to, because we as americans love to shove our Godly thoughts down each others throats. I have in my life time had so much religious crap pushed upon me that I think I want to vomit! Did you know that more money is spent each year on religion alone than education, and healthcare combined! It's true, it's damn true! We have sick, homeless, and uneducated people walking around out there and that is okyday as long as they have faith right? Please! Here is an easy way to see how much "God" helps you, For 6 straight months, quit paying all your bills and see what happens. Will God pay your mortgage? How about your loan payment? NOT! You will be left out to dry. And that is exactly where religion itself will ultimately leave you! The only thing they have going for them is by the time you IDIOTS realize it, it will be too late for they have taken a lifetime of finances from you and now you are dead! Here is one last sickening thought on religion, we as humans worship the dead! Now what form of oxy-moronisism is this crap? We save the dead! Wake up people, the rest of the world recycles, we as humans, through the ability of thought have found yet another way to desicrate mother earth herself. Maybe in the big picture that is our ultimate problem, TOO MUCH THINKING!
